Privacy Policy
We built iPhoto Resize around a simple principle: your files belong to you. Here is exactly how we handle data — and what we never touch.
Last updated: April 2026
1.Introduction
iPhoto Resize ("we", "us", or "our") operates the iPhoto Resize website and batch image-resizing tool (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, how the Service works in relation to your data — what we collect, what we do not collect, and the role of third-party services. Our guiding principle is simple: your files stay on your device.
2.Information We Do Not Collect
Through the core functionality of iPhoto Resize, we do not collect:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or postal addresses
- Account credentials (no account is required)
- Payment or billing information
- The images, dimensions, or files you process
- Any copies, thumbnails, or backups of your content
- EXIF metadata, GPS coordinates, or camera details from your photos
We do not collect, store, or sell personal data through the core functionality of this Service.
3.How the Service Works
iPhoto Resize is a client-side application. When you select images to resize, those images are loaded directly into your browser's memory and processed using your device's CPU and GPU via the HTML Canvas API. The resized images (and ZIP archive, if you batch them) are then made available for you to download — directly from your browser.
At no point during this process is your file uploaded to, transmitted to, or stored by iPhoto Resize. We have no servers receiving or holding your content.
4.Third-Party Advertising
We may display advertisements from third-party networks (such as Google AdSense) to keep iPhoto Resize free. These partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve relevant ads based on non-personal information like browser type and approximate location. They operate independently and are subject to their own privacy policies. See our Do Not Sell My Personal Information page to opt out.
5.Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics (such as Plausible or aggregated Google Analytics) to understand how people use iPhoto Resize — for example, which tools are most popular and which browsers we should test against. These metrics are aggregated and do not identify individual users.
6.Cookies & Local Storage
iPhoto Resize uses your browser's local storage to remember preferences like your last chosen output format, quality, or theme. This data never leaves your device. We do not set tracking cookies of our own.
7.Children's Privacy
iPhoto Resize is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
8.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the revised policy.
